Invalid Shipper ID
Cargo Location ID field incorrect - Shipper Location Contact
Orange Box Error: The Shipper Cargo Location ID is not recognized by Southwest Cargo. Please review the Shipper Location within the Contact Book, Edit the Cargo Location ID, and resubmit the booking.
Where: Step 4 Air Freight Search - Quotation - Submit Booking Request
Issue: This error is caused when the Shipper Location ID aka, the Cargo Location ID value within the Shipper Location Contact is incorrect.
Common Examples of Incorrect ID Values: 526, 010, 000, 111.
Generally, the Cargo Location ID will always be 001. If you are an organization that has stations throughout the country that ship with Southwest Cargo, but have separate billing profiles, your three digit Shipper Location ID / Cargo Location ID value will be different from 001.
When your organization's profile is created, Hangar A creates the first Shipper Location profile with the correct Cargo Location ID. The three digit value listed in the first Shipper Location Contact will ALWAYS be the three digit value to input as the Cargo Location ID.
Solution:
- Main Dashboard - Left Sidebar - Contact Book
- Find Shipper Location used for origin airport - if the three digit Cargo Location ID appears to be invalid (based on the info above), update the value, and click Save.
- Then, return to the Main Dashboard, locate shipment, click Continue.
- Click Step 1 Icon
- Click Select Shipper Location Button - Reselect the Shipper Location you already have listed
- This will now recognize the new updated Cargo Location ID value
- Continue through the booking process and submit.
